And he says I'm picky?!?!

Since Boone was leaving for Kansas the following morning, I decided to make his all time favorite meal. This consist of hamburger patties, velveeta shells and cheese, and ranch style beans. He loves to eat it, I love the easiness of it. WELL I left our can opener at work (maybe someday generic soups will have the handy flip top lips) and I told Boone sorry hunny no ranch style beans with your meal. No response. So I piddled in our bedroom for a minute until I hear a clanging noise coming from the Kitchen. I look down the hallway and notice Kenzie sitting in the living room completly in tune to whatever is going on in the kitchen. I make my way around the corner and this is what I find.....

This boy is serious about his ranch style beans!

Girl's Night Anyone?

Because I'm really needing it right now. So much to do and so little time. Today my camera is the enemy along with Photoshop. I want nothing more than to go home, read "Love Dare" and take a long hot bath with a bottle....I mean glass of wine by my side with no interruptions. But that won't happen. Boone leaves for Kansas in the morning and perhaps this is why I'm stressed. Maybe it's because I have a list of Pros vs. Cons of taking Kenzie out of a daycare facility and placing her with a private sitter. I am suprised at how much the cons outweigh the pros right now....what are your thoughts? Speaking of wine, I am super excited to be taking Vicki and Josh's enagement pics at Brennan Vineyards next week. Not only because the pics are going to come out spectacular, but because I love love love Brennan Vineyard's wine! Yummy! And because Comanche is my old stompin grounds of course. I better draw my focus back to planning for the bridal fair. Boone is all excited about designing my booth space lol. He's such a sweetie!

Christmas comes early at the Cook house....

Finally some alone time....this weekend has been go go go. Thankfully Kenzie is asleep and the Cowboys have another quarter to go so Boone will be out of my hair for a little bit. Two cancellations this weekend meant more time for me to spend with my family that was in from Lubbock and San Angelo. Don't get me wrong, I was bummed we had to cancel the shoots but I don't blame those mommies for not wanting their kiddos in this breezy weather. OH just wanted to share my excitedness (is that a word) I got 10 emails Saturday alone for 4 weddings and 6 sets of engagement pics. I have a lot to be thankful for this year! Back to my family, Christmas is our favorite holiday! So with that comes being the only family in our neighborhoods with our Christmas decor out in the middle of November. We set up the tree and my grandmas house first and of course Santa Claus had to make his yearly debut. Kenzie LOVED him! It took her just one try to figure out where his button was and man did she press that thing none stop!

The other plus to having the family in town, is knowing me and Boone will have some alone time because they ALWAYS insist on keeping Kenzie for us. So we had a great night together! Today we made the decision and go ahead and unload our shed of what Christmas decor we have. Boone will be one the road pretty much until Christmas and its a family thing for us to put the tree up together. Suprisingly, Kenzie didn't want much to do with the ornaments on the tree...atleast for now.
Yes, those are presents already under the tree!
